The Softail Slim model delivers a healthy balance of Harley-Davidson® past and present. It merges raw, minimalistic 1940s bobber styling with up-to-date, old-school fat elements and contemporary power. Its blackedout presence, retro features, and low-slung seat express that unmistakable old-iron attitude.26750_17LIT_PHX_161440.jpg

The High Output Twin Cam 103™ “B” engine is counter balanced to cancel primary vibration and permit the rigid mounting of the engine in the frame for a tight fit. You get classic “rigid” frame styling and a vibration-free ride at all speeds.

The new air cleaner cover for the High Output engine is designed to flow plenty of air to the engine for peak performance and its slim profile gives you a little more leg room on the right side of the bike.

With ratios selected for to match the engine performance, the Six-Speed Cruise Drive® Transmission delivers strong acceleration to help you pull away from traffic plus relaxed highway engine speed and enhanced fuel economy in sixth gear so you can ride longer in comfort.

The Softail® Slim Model has classic black steel laced wheels that merge with the tires to give the front end more mass, and are a perfect fit for this bike’s traditional bobber style that everyone’s going to notice when you roll down the boulevard.03374_17WEB_PHX_161441.jpg

The Softail® Slim Model is available with optional ABS that prevents wheel lock-up in less-than-optimal conditions, so in any situation you’ll have more control with optimized braking performance.

We call these “beer can” fork covers, and they look right on a bobber-style bike like the Softail® Slim Model, giving your front end a little more mass and a splash of bright chrome.

The Harley® Softail® chassis tucks the shocks under the frame and the shape of the swingarm mimic the lines of a classic hardtail frame…you get a clean, uncluttered line at the rear but with the comfort of modern suspension.

Chopped, or “bobbed,” fenders are another element of the classic bobber look of the Softail® Slim Model that also expose the tires to make them an element of style that’s going to turn heads every time you ride.

The Hollywood handlebar has a wide, comfortable bend and a cross brace modeled after a vintage Harley-Davidson® accessory handlebar…it’s an element of that bobber style that’s also going to put you in a comfortable riding posture.

The “cat eye” console is another throw-back styling element that gets its name from the shape of the turn signal indicators. You’ll check your speed and other functions on a speedometer with a retro-styled face.
