Battle of the Glides: Street Glide vs Road Glide

Posted by Jess Bettencourt on Mar 24, 2022 10:30:00 AM

These two models of baggers are battling it out for the Most Popular Model award. The deciding factor? The style of front fairing. The Batwing Fairing and the Shark Nose Fairing.

Introducing the New Boom! Box GTS

Posted by Jess Bettencourt on Aug 28, 2018 7:00:00 PM

Even the Infotainment system is faster, sleeker and more jaw-dropping.

Welcome to the next generation of Harley-Davidson Infotainment: the Boom! Box GTS. The first thing you notice is that it has no buttons. It's glass from edge to edge with the sleek appearance of the latest touchscreen, automotive and marine displays. But there's even more beauty in the way it works. Compared to the previous-generation Infotainment system, it cuts start-up time in half. Time to FM Audio is less than 6 seconds. And route calculation time is reduced from 10 seconds to 2.5 seconds. Operation is simple. Three key system buttons: Navigation, Phone and Music. And there's a new back button added to the right-hand controls. A new quick-jump feature allows easy access to nav, audio and vehicle information. Stop by Oakland Harley-Davidson for a demonstration. It's as easy and intuitive to use as your smartphone.

Softail Customization Ideas

Posted by Jess Bettencourt on Apr 13, 2017 3:30:00 PM

Customization is what make the Harley-Davidson motorcycle that you buy, truly your own. They are a reflection of your riding style, body type and personal style. For some people, they have a perfect idea of what they want their bike to look like when it's "done" (although when is a bike truly done?). For others, their custom build takes time and slowly morphs over time adding new details here and there. Still others, are constantly looking for new inspiration. If you fall into this bucket, here are a few of our favorite Softail customization projects. Bonus. They are all accomplished using factory parts that can be installed without temperamental fitment questions and warranty-voiding concerns.
